Engineer - Mechanical & Process - Roodepoort (Job Ref: )

• Minimum of 4 years study at university preferably B Eng or B Tech
• Must be registered as Professional Engineer in terms of the Act
• Minimum of 6 years experience is required in this environment – candidate must have proven the ability to use the knowledge
• work independently and take charge where necessary
• Computer literacy is required
• specialist knowledge of warehouse engineering and building construction
• Ability to do planning of engineering services within the division
• including projects and maintenance
• Excellent communication skills with all levels

Delivers an effective Engineering service to Commercial, Manage maintenance: Ensure plant availability, Ensure safety of equipment, Deliver regular reports as required, Develop and manage Commercial Engineering Capital budget, Manage engineering function in Commercial, Provision of Technical Support (specialist contribution to mechanical and process aspects), Cost estimates, SLA’s, tenders, Construction, design, Equipment, Refrigeration, Fire protection and electricity, Implementation of Commercial Warehouse Development Projects.
